The goal of this subject is to become students familiar with the fundamentals of database systems, to teach them the design of data models, creation and management of databases and their users. Students have the possibility to learn SQL language and queries written in this language. They can acquire practical skills with work in Oracle and MySQL database systems environment and also they will learn how to create a web interface to the database in PHP language. Last but not least, they will be introduced into the domain of multimedia databases.
