The biennial IEEE Conference on Microwaves, Communications, Antennas and Electronic Systems (COMCAS 2013) took place on October 21-23, 2013 in Tel Aviv, Israel. IEEE COMCAS provides a multidisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas, research results, and industry experience in the areas of microwaves, communications, antennas, solid state circuits, electron devices, radar and electronic systems engineering. Also KEMT researcher, Mgr. Jana Fortes, PhD., was not missing among the conference participants and presented her contribution “Solutions of Mutual Shadowing Effect between People Tracked by UWB Radar” in section „Microwave and Terahertz Sensors, Imaging, Detecting and Tomography“. The COMCAS 2013 final program comprised 140 technical presentations, talks and tutorials, arranged in 31 sessions over two and one-half days with up to five parallel sessions running concurrently for much of the time. The technical presentations, reviewed, selected and accepted from a larger group of submissions, are archived in IEEE-Xplore®.
